Civil Ceremonies

Chelmsford Spiritualist Society is licensed for, and offers a range of non-statuary services such as;

Marriage and Civil Partnership Ceremonies
These are non-religious ceremonies to welcome the joining together of two people.
Renewal of Vows
These ceremonies are often associated with a special wedding anniversary and for couples who have married abroad and now want a celebratory ceremony involving family and friends.
Naming Ceremonies
This is a non-religious ceremony to celebrate the birth of a child, welcome an adoptive child or to embrace stepchildren into a new family.
Civil Funerals
This recognises the changing needs of society by offering a choice of ceremony which is not influenced by religious and cultural traditions, but by personal preference or by the wishes of the deceased.
